Do the Tower Rooms at MGM Grand Las Vegas have coffee pots and coffee ?

Last year at Excalibur they didn't, and we had to go to Walmart while in Las Vegas !! OMG ... don't want to waste ANY time. OR.... can you fly with a small 2 cup coffee maker if it's in a checked bag that is not taken onboard ?? We are flying Allegiant Air.

Thanks !!Do the Tower Rooms at MGM Grand Las Vegas have coffee pots and coffee ?
No, the Grand Tower rooms at MGM Grand don't have coffeemakers or coffee. If you want that kind of amenity, you'd have to upgrade to one of the better suites.

Yes, you can put a small 2-cup coffeemaker in your checked baggage, but just make sure you wrap it in bubble wrap, etc., so it's protected against breakage (which may happen anyway -- you know how rough airport baggage handling can be these days).

Otherwise, the MGM Grand has multiple Starbucks on site, if you don't mind paying more for coffee that's all ready to go. Another alternative is going to the CVS across the street near the Monte Carlo, and buying a small 2-cup coffeemaker there.

Good luck!
Bad News:

None of the Las Vegas properties offer coffee pots %26amp; coffee in their cheapest room categories.

Good News:

There is NOW a brand new Walmart immediately outside of the airport (just down russell road (first traffic light you/the taxi finds on their way to the MGM Grand property. It's 'out of the way' but...more 'along the way' than any other option!

Other options...

There is a drug store 'immediately outside' the MGM (just to the right of the golden lion entrance and just before the Fatburger restaurant! (Fatburger, YUM!, great place for a good large and a bit sloppy burger...open 24hrs/7days!)...if you MUST you can also check across the street from you...there's another drugstore there as well. However, no guarantee either one carries coffee pots versus regular 'tourist' stuff.

Worst case:

I can always have one of my 'courier service' people run coffee/coffee maker, etc over to you for a 'delivery charge' if you 'really' want your own coffee in the room versus what MGM has in its 'food court' area. (McDonalds, Starbucks, etc)Do the Tower Rooms at MGM Grand Las Vegas have coffee pots and coffee ?
The tower rooms do not have coffee pots. They are the most basic rooms, and the coffee would be disgusting anyways.

As for the 2 cup coffee maker, should be absolutely no problem at all.

Also, double check you have the lowest hotel rate at http://www.mycheapvegas.com, unless you purchased a air/hotel package then nevermind =).

Cheers!
I do not think the Tower Rooms have coffee makers. You may just have to go back to Walmart or upgrade to a room that may have one. If you can pack your own, that would probably be the best way to go.
Stay home. No cheapskates wanted.
No hotels want you to use room service
