Good fight...props to both men for making it happen

Looks like 2012 starting out good....Pac-Bradley and Cotto -Floyd are fights I always wanted to see
honest answer I hope Cotto knocks him out tired of Floyd and stupid a-- sh-- tried to act all manly by calling out Manny knowing that he had prior commitments he couldn't do when it originally was proposed all I can say is f- mayweather

he ducks anyone who can actually beat him and hurt him period those boxers eventually get their day I just hope Cotto is his Terry Norris to Sugar Ray LeonardIt's official, Mayweather will be fighting Cotto on May 5 at MGM grand, What's your take?
@THE HAWK, right on.

Mayweather vs Cotto is a way better fight than Pacquiao vs Cotto IMO. Floyd needs to fight more guys like this. I guess the news of these two epic fights kinda makes up for Berto-Ortiz being called off, which is a pain in the a*s that was guaranteed slugfest entertainment!
How can Floyd Mayweather and his fans complain about Pacquiao fighting Floyd's leftovers but then Mayweather decides tay fight Cotto, a man dat Pacquiao absolutely destroyed.

HYPOCRISY HYPOCRISY

listen tay their excuses that they will use. " well at least floyd fought cotto at his natural weight " bla bla

Cotto weighed 146 vs Clottey and 145 vs Pacquiao, damn that extra pound must be a killer.

ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
All I have to say is FCUK BOB ARUM!
I think it's good that Mayweather will be fighting Miguel Cotto coming off a dominating victory over Margarito, but it's just stupid for Mayweather to be fighting a Puerto Rican on Cinco de Mayo.

That aside, I think people should shut up about Mayweather not fighting Cotto. I don't wanna hear any about Cotto not being in his prime because the one who is not in his prime is Mayweather. He is slowing down, his reflexes aren't as good and he has not been in the ring much since 2007.

I don't really know what to expect from this fight, i just hope it's a good one.
hell of a fight
the undercard better be good!!!

Hoping to see a mexican in there at least for may 5th
Good news. I much rather see Floyd Mayweather fight someone like Miguel Cotto anyway since we all know Mayweather has Manny Pacquiao's number with his superb counter punching abilities, which Pacquiao is extreamly vulnerable to counter punchers.

Miguel Cotto on the other hand is a more well rounded boxer than Pacquiao ,and has more to bring to the table than just power ,plus Miguel Cotto is bigger.
As usual Floyd using other boxers names to keep himself relevant. he was saying he was willing to fight Martinez if he dropped to 150lbs but is now willing to fight Cotto at 154lbs. This suggests he never had any intention of fighting Martinez but used the name to make it look as if he was going for the toughest fights available.

Mayweather to beat Cotto by UD winning 10 or 11 rounds in a somewhat boring fight.Cotto is past his prime. Many Mayweather fans pointed out Cotto was past his prime a few years ago after to losing to Margarito, I cant see how years later he can regain his prime.By Mayweathers fans own standards he is fighting a "past it" Pacquiao leftover.
The way he criticized Manny Pacquiao will come back to haunt him down. I thought he doesn't fight leftover. What a jerk.
Mayweather is a big fkng joke to me. But he ain't funny.
Let's just hope mayweather doesn't pay cotto to take a dive.

Cotto is a boxer with pride, but who knows he might give in so he can retire.
