Hoping for and outdoor whilrpool also, can't tell by the website if treasure island has oneI'm going to Vegas in April-who has the better pool complex MGM grand or Treasure island?
mgm has unbelievable pool complex. TI is nice hotel but has a very ordinary pool. you should call before you book to see if everything is open at mgm. in the off season they close everything but the directors pool. if the lazy river and all the pools are open its the best pool area in town hands down.
MGM.
Personally I did not like MGM though. Too big, crowded and confusing. I thought it was overrated. The pool was very nice, but when I was there getting a seat was like a scavenger hunt.I'm going to Vegas in April-who has the better pool complex MGM grand or Treasure island?
I'm going to the MGM in April also. I picked the MGM for the price, but from the photo's, the pool looks great. I found the pictures on Vegas.com. That web site has everything about vegas and you may find it helpful. I can't wait for April.
IMO, it's not even close, the MGM pool area is much nicer than TI...
MGM - 3 whirlpools
TI - 1 whirlpool

I prefer the MGM much bigger and when I could not find a seat I asked the pool boy to hlep and he got us two loungers
It use to be that you had to use the pool at the Mirage but recently they added a pool though not real big it does serve the purpose. You can read about it here and can also see photos of it.

MGM hands down. I stay there at least twice a year during the warm season for the pools! There are several pools and whirlpools, and a lazy river. There is ample seating and tons of lounge chairs. There is an adults only pool if that if what you prefer. Great music is always playing, and the drinks are always flowing, it is a very fun pool scene.
I personally have not seen the pool at TI, but I heard it is not quite big enough to suit all of the guests. You may want to check into that further. However, I still recommend the MGM Grand!
Have fun!!
