Does anyone know if you get any perks staying at the MGM Grand in Vegas?

Hi - Myself and 5 friends are visiting Vegas for the first time in August 2010 at the MGM Grand. We are wondering if we get any perks from the MGM that non-MGM-stayer's don't get? We are a male group aged mid-twenties. Any other advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!Does anyone know if you get any perks staying at the MGM Grand in Vegas?
You can get into the pool area, which is a nice one. The pool is open only to MGM guests. But otherwise, there aren't any perks that people not staying at the resort can get. The Vegas resorts make all of their services, restaurants, clubs, activities, etc open to all visitors, with the exception of the pool area.



You might get discounts at restaurants, etc in the hotel if you book with a particular promotion code - see MGM's website for any promotions that might interest you.
Just staying there won't get you much perks. You will be able to queue jump MGM's Studio 54 club, but trust me that club is pretty crap, way better places to go like LAX, tryst, etc etc.



To get the real perks you either have spend a lot of money on the tables, or split a table between your mates int he clubs. vegas lives on money the more you spend the nicer the city is to you.

There are no theme parks at MGM Grand or NYNY. There is a roller coaster at NYNY and a theme park (AdventureDome) at Circus Circus

Get a players card when you arrive and use it to gamble to make some points and use it when you buy gifts and meals, and you can get cash discounts.

Yes you will get free entry into the theme park,dont loose your shirt,and watch out for pickpokets at the outside shows,have a ball!!!!
No perks. You will get free drinks while gambling at any casino.
