Has anyone stayed at MGM grand las Vegas?

We're staying in the west wing anyone know how big the rooms are and what floor the west wing rooms are on? If you have anything to share about the hotel I would love to hear it.Has anyone stayed at MGM grand las Vegas?
MGM Grand is one of my favorite hotels; it is within walking distance of the new City Center. The West Wing Rooms are smaller (350 sq. ft) than the regular rooms at MGM Grand, but so worth it! The West Wing Rooms are much quieter than its regular rooms, it comes with flat screen televisions, bose radio, DVD player etc., it is much more modern and trendy. There is also a West Wing Bar that is a great spot for happy hour or pre-nightlife cocktails. Also, depending upon when you are planning to go their adult pool Wet Republic is one of the hottest spots during the summer; hotel guests can request comp entry through the concierge. MGM Grand is always poppin, it is a very lively young crowd there. Their nightclub is Studio 54 which is one of the oldest if not the oldest nightclub on the Strip; for nightclubs I would look at The Venetian, Palazzo, Encore, Wynn and Palms. In addition, MGM Grand has a great listing of restaurants, my favorites are Emeril's Fish House and Craft Steak; don't forget to make reservations. If you want to know more about the hotel check out: www.vegascitypage.com and www.vegasplaydate.com.
If they're the ones considered their "newer rooms" or newly renovated, I would pass! I did stay at the MGM and was first given one of their West Wing rooms. It was waaaay too small. I felt claustrophobic in it, but I'm someone who likes to enjoy it as much as I do my location. I always make it a point to stay in one night and order room service. You walk in and you're basically walking into the bed- there's no sit down areas, no table %26amp; chairs, the tv's right on top of you.

I upgraded to some kind of suite for $30 extra a night (if you do this at the check in counter, you're more likely to get a deal) I think it was called the cabana, and it was HUGE. It had its own separate living room, a bar, 2 showers in the bathroom. It was worth every penny!!!Has anyone stayed at MGM grand las Vegas?
MGM grand is my choice hotel. I have not stayed in the west wing but I have gone through the west wing. Just hope you on a high floor. It is really quiet and secluded considering it's such a huge hotel. The first floor I use to get a cut through from the front door out to the bcak door that is right next door to a all purpose shop. Has subway trinkets beer and water and all cheaper than the hotel :-)
