for incidentals etc. Staying for seven nights in pre-payed accommodation. If so how much, and can a cash deposit be left instead of using a credit card?Is there a deposit required at check in at the MGM grand hotel in Las Vegas?
Typically, your credit card would cover any incidentals, and I doubt a resort such as MGM would take cash. I'd call MGM and ask the question directly.
The deposit is usually a credit card because money is hard to "manage" and return. The deposit is for extra charges like room service, meals, or anything you charge to the room not covered. It is for the use of internet, phone calls, etc. It is not a specific amount with a credit card because they will charge what is required, no more, if there is damage or other services charged to the roomIs there a deposit required at check in at the MGM grand hotel in Las Vegas?
Vegas hotels always want a credit card numbers to cover incidentals. Cash generally does not work at the larger resorts since the amount of damage that can be done to a room by a bunch of young partiers could far exceed the amount of cash you could leave as a deposit.
