Depends on when you plan on coming. If it is during the warm weather then MGM has the better pool area. Otherwise, the NYNY would be better. You are right there on the strip and easy to get to and from. The MGM is so massive that you are way off the strip to get to and from your hotel room. No major strip casinos have loose slots. You have to go to the small casinos or a locals to do any good there. Downtown isn't as bad as the strip casinos.
Slots are slots regardless which casino, a random win. I like NYNY best because I love the casino. MGM is a huge casino and the size of more than two football fields, easy to lose someone. I would go with MGM do to they have a better pool and plus NYNY has the roller coaster which is noisy when your trying to sleep during the day. I say the gaming is about the same at either places..
i acually just came back from vegas and trust me mgm grand signature is the best even better than mgm grand because its more classy than anything and trust me ull love it
I like MGM Grand better then NYNY.
Stayed at the MGM and was satisfied. Never stayed at NY NY but it right across the street from MGM. I have gambled at both and done OK at both. I think you would be ok with either hotel.
