Stayed in a suite last summer, nice rooms but missing a shade in the bathroom to cover the window by the shower and the bathroom door was not flush with the frame so it never closed all the way. They offered to move us to another room but we were already settled so we stayed where we were. Very nice pool area. Nice collection of restaurants and shops but the casino is nothing new; no new games at the tables, slots awful payback and video poker even worse. We had to walk about a mile to Foxwoods casino for descent gaming and the buffet and a larger choice of restaurants. Stay in the Pequot Tower at Foxwoods, centrally located and rooms very nice, and less exspensive. Plenty to do for 2 days especially if you see a concert or two.
MGM is really just part of foxwoods
Personally, I like it better than their other gaming floors.
There was this happy resteraunt called juniors which I liked.
If I were to pick a place in CT to gamble in, this gaming florr is my #1 choice.
There was a bar on the floor, and another bar which at the time was more like a nightclub for some kind of event, and it was pretty hoppin.
The atmosphere at mgm, is relaxed and casual with very freindly and personable staff. I personaly like this, but you may not.
If you want more upbeat excitment, I think mohegan might be your best bet.
Thats all I remember from my trips to CTAnyone been to the new MGM grand at foxwoods?
I've been there. It's pretty nice. Personally I don't think it's the honeymoon type of place, unless you smoke and drink a lot. Not my idea of an actual vacation.
no i dont like MGM movies
