Does the MGM Grand in Vegas still have the greatest amount of rooms in the world?

And a big thank you to all the people that said the Mandalay Hotel was better than Circus Circus....YOU were all so rightDoes the MGM Grand in Vegas still have the greatest amount of rooms in the world?
MGM was the largest for so long. In Vegas the Venetian has more but not considered the same way as the MGM. The Venetian has the Palazzo which is a separate hotel and booked separately so I would still consider the MGM the largest in Vegas because if you include the Signature at MGM it would then combine to surpass the Venetian/Palazzo.

The two properties Mandalay Bay shouldn't even be on the same page as they are so different. Glad you found out before you went and you are right ... there is no indoor pool at Mandalay Bay.
Although booked separately , yet widely considered one entity , the Venetian/Palazzo "Mega-center" consists of 7,128 rooms . The lone-standing MGM Grand consists of 6,276 rooms . The First World Hotel in Genting Highlands , Malaysia consists of 6,118 rooms . These are the top three . The greatest amount of rooms in the world ? I'll leave that up to you ...Does the MGM Grand in Vegas still have the greatest amount of rooms in the world?
No, this is not correct. In 2006, Guinness World Records listed the First World Hotel in Genting Highlands, Malaysia as the world's largest hotel with a total of 6,118 rooms.

In terms of Las Vegas, The Venetian surpassed the MGM as the largest hotel/resort property.
