I am going to las vegas in september and i am from britain, i dont have a credit card, so how much is the cash deposit. I have heard that the deposit is equal to one nights stay at the MGM grand but i am not sure. I booked my flight and hotel through expedia so i was not given the price of the room, as it was put together with the flights.

You can try booking MGM through the http://www.worldcheaper.com. It will give you the total price that you are going to have to pay.
I just spoke with the front desk about this. I'm curious too, as I'm headed there at the end of August. A major credit card will net you a $200 USD hold for the duration of your stay.



A cash deposit for incidentals is either not required (if you don't want to have signing privileges or the use of your phone) or it would be $100 USD per night of your stay.

When we checked into the MGM last September we didn't need anything but when we checked out thats when they hit you up for any extras like phone calls and you can pay with cash or credit card. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip
