I want to rent a suite at the MGM Grand but im only 17 years old?

For our senior trip after graduation, my friends and I want to drive to Vegas and spend 2-3 nights there.

My dad knows someone that works at MGM Grand, and he can hook us up... but will we get in trouble when we check in?

And wat kind of stuff can we do? Our ages range from 17-19I want to rent a suite at the MGM Grand but im only 17 years old?
more than likely you wil not get a room . many hotel/casinos you have to be 21 to rent a room
Sounds like a great trip although you may have a few road blocks. When you check in, you will have to give a credit card because they will put a hold on the account to make sure no damage was done to the room. You will be able to pay cash but you will still need to have a credit card to reserve the room and to confirm your reservations the card owner will have to be present with proof of ID.

Good luckI want to rent a suite at the MGM Grand but im only 17 years old?
Minimum age to have a room in your name at mostplaces is 21 MGM Grand I believe is 18 but what are you going to do there ? You cant drink, you cant go to clubs or bars you can not even stop in the casino you need to keep walking. Ok maybe the spa and a bit of shopping but surely there are other places to go where you willhave a better time.

You can pay cash for the room but you will need to leave a deposit of around $200 - $400, are you also aware that the terrace suites only have one bed ?
You are really wasting money by taking a trip to Vegas at 17-19 years old. You can't gamble, you can't drink, can't go to the clubs (stripper clubs or dance clubs) and most of the hotels on the strip won't get you even rent a hotel room, even if you did have a credit card. The 17 year olds will be able to do even less, because they can't even get into most of the Vegas shows or go to a spas in the hotels.

Go to Six Flags or Busch Gardens instead, at least the roller coasters are good.
A parent or someone over 21 with a credit card will have to check you in. But I would pick another location. There will not be much to do but see shows, which the goods ones are $100 a person, or hang out at circus circus, which has an indoor amusement park.
Not going to happen. You have to be at least 18 with a major credit card. Your ID has to match the credit card. Vegas is a 21 and older town.
For MGM you could be 18 and over to rent a room, but you will definetly need a credit card.

Usually check in is at 3. If you have reservations you'll show them your credit card and ID and they'll get everything set-up for you.

I've gone to Vegas twice when I was 19-20 and there wasn't much for me to do there. Um, Let's see, I think 99.9% of clubs are 21 and over. You have to be 21 to gamble or even watch people gamble. You have to be 21 to check in to most hotels. Even, if you're 18 there isn't much to do,other than walk the strip, certain shows, eat, Circus Circus lol, and shop. If your not 18, then forget it...I wouldn't even bother spending over hundreds on a hotel.

Pretty much, you have to be 21 to make Vegas a worthwhile trip.

I wouldn't even bother waisting to much money....trust me
Save Vegas for your senior COLLEGE trip... Because you cant do much out there if your not 21.

Go to Miami or Cancun instead LOL
Yes, you absolutely will get in trouble when you try to check in. MGM will never let you check-in to a room if you are under 21, period. Even if you find some seedy motel who will let you sleep there, if you get carded anywhere at any time during the trip, then security will take you into custody as a runaway and call your parents to come get you. If any of your older friends say "she's with us", then they could be arrested for suspicion of kidnapping.

MGM Grand, along with every hotel, casino, and bar in Vegas does NOT want your business because even letting you set foot in the building is a potential liability that could cost them far more than you would ever pay. Even people 18-20 are not welcome to stay in the hotels or visit the casinos or bars because of the risk to their gaming and liquor licenses.

I know I am being dramatic but the reality is that you will not have fun because you will end up staying in some crummy motel in a bad part of town and you will get kicked out of every fun place you try to walk in to.

Honestly, you would have much more fun planning a trip to Disneyland.
