Best answer goes to the first person who provide the finishing point, via Google Maps, to the Grand Canyon Skywalk that will allow me to get driving directions.Which route do I take to drive from MGM Grand Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon Skywalk?
look at a map of Nev and Arizona. It is a simple drive from Vegas, across the Hoover dam, to Dolan Springs, Az. From Dolan Springs just follow the signs. Note-- native americans own the land and skywalk. They charge $25 per person to get on the skwalk.
Hi. Very interested in the route you have posted. Checked it out on google maps and seen some views using street view and it looks amazing!!
I have planned a route from our hotel (Bright Angel at Grand Canyon) back to Las Vegas using the points you suggest
Thanks very much, can't wait for next week

Which route do I take to drive from MGM Grand Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon Skywalk?Check wiki.Or check yahoo.Or check google earth.Or check google.Or check other info sites(which you can search on google).
Do yourself a favor and don't go to Skywalk because it's not in Grand Canyon National Park nor does it over look the River
If you want to see the real Grand Canyon that i have my bootprints all over the inside of take the time to drive the 4-5 hours and see the real thing .%26gt;get gas in Kingman before you get onto I-40 E
If you want a better [and free ] view of the River than Skywalk will ever give you
use the Desert View [great view of the Rio btw ] exit to GCNP
Take SR 64 downhill to the jct of US 89 N
make a left %26gt;get gas at the Cameron Trading Post
Go up to Bitter Springs AZ and at the jct of US 89A make a left and follow that over Navajo bridge %26gt;If you start climbing steeply on US 89 then you missed the turnoff
pull into the Parking area and walk across the old bridge

Two ways to get back to LAS
If you have about 3 hours of daylight left and the snow conditions on 89A going up the switchbacks from House Rock Valley thru Jacob Lake %26amp; into Fredonia AZ don't require the use of chains
Then take US 89A into Kanab UT and the jct of US 89
Follow that to Mount Carmel Junction UT
make a left on SR 9
Downhill thru the spectacular cross-bedded sandstones at the top of Zion NP
then take SR 9 thru the Park into Hurricane %26gt;get gas either in Hurricane or St George
connect to I-15 S and on into LAS
It's a lot of driving But the scenery from GCNP to the bottom of the Virgin River Gorge on I-15 is just amazing
or.....
Take US 89A back to the jct of US 89 S
Take that all the way to I-40W in Flagstaff
and then use exit 48 at Kingman to get you back to LAS
