How to get from Edison NJ to MGM Grand at Foxwoods, CT?

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble figuring out how to take a train (or ten by the looks of it!) from edison nj to the MGM which is in 'Mashentucket' CT as far as I know..

I need to get from there to there next sat morning and do a return journey the next day early afternoon (do trains even run on sundays?) btw if possible we'd like the easiest and cheapest option! :oD

Check this out, apparently Academy Bus Service will take you there from The Cheesequake rest area on the Garden State Pkwy, that's in Sayreville, just below the Driscoll Bridge.How to get from Edison NJ to MGM Grand at Foxwoods, CT?
There are no trains that go directly to the casino. You'd need to take a train from NJ to Grand Central in NYC. From there, take a Metro North train to New Haven. From there, take a Shoreline East train. That will get you to the general area.
