I live in Vegas so i'd have to say MGM is better.
MGM Grand is actually better but the Mirage is in a more central location on the Vegas strip.Which vegas hotel is better - Mirage or MGM Grand?
Owned by the same corporation. MGM rooms are bigger and better but the hotel is so huge it takes forever just to get to and from your room. Mirage is much smaller and easier to get around. MGM is like a city in itself. You can find most anything you want or need there. The pool at the Mirage is packed from opening to closing. MGM has several pools but with the number of guests they have a crowd problem too at times. Mirage is more a of a party type atmosphere that the MGM and the MGM is more relaxed.
MGM I prefer! Its fun and it is still VERY close to most everything! There is a lot to do too :)
I have to say that of all the hotels I've ever stayed at, the Mirage is maybe my very favorite. I love the pool, the restaurants, the casino. The service is great, the location is amazing - very central to the rest of the Strip.
