I have stayed in MGM many times, it is down town and near to shopping and other casino hotels.
Venetian is about 25 mins by taxi to town area but good for luxury goods shopping and perhaps you would like to take a ride in the gondola.
Another Casino Hotel, which is quite good and it's just 10 meters away from MGM - The Wynn Casino Hotel, where the musical mountain is a "must see" especially at night.Which is a better Casino? MGM Grand ot the Venetian?
Venetian, rooms are newer and rates are cheaper
