Mandalay Bay or MGM Grand?

I am going to Vegas for the first time with my two best friends. We're all in our mid 20s. We can't decide between Mandalay Bay or MGM Grand. We're looking for a hip, fun vibe with people around our age and the least amount of families with kids. We're open to other suggestions too, but these are just the two that we have it currently narrowed down to because they seem to have decent deals.

MGM Grand is awesome. I stayed there when i went to Vegas and I cant think of anything bad to say. Theres also a club name ROK thats pretty awesome and thats located inside New York New York which is right next to MGM. That club gets packed on Saturdays. My best friend is getting married this year and if I could I would take her to Vegas for her bachelorette party and stay at MGM! So jealous of u that your going!!!
The MGM attracts kids as well as Mandalay Bay. Not a whole lot be probably equal amounts. Mandalay Bay has the best pool and probably a younger crowd than the MGM. Hard Rock or Palms would be the best for what you want but they are pricey. Might try Planet Hollywood for what you are looking for.Mandalay Bay or MGM Grand?
I prefer to stay at MGM Grand. Its popular and its been around for a long time. Mandalay Bay is nice too. But it depends on you on where you want to stay at.
Mandalay bay seems to attract affluent families with babies. For that one factor I would give the edge to the MGM. However, they are both great!
I'd go with MGM Grand. Because, Mandalay Bay is literally the last *major* hotel on the strip.

Hard Rock - little off main strip, but known for partying. MGM is more family and huge.
