Sahara, Luxor, Excalibur, MGM Grand, Imperial Palace, Vdara or Caesar's?

How would you line this hotels up from best to worse? What are the perks of each one? What does one have to offer that he other doesn't?

Vdara is beautiful, but no casino - just something to keep in mind. I'd rate it tops for rooms right now though. It has a pretty good location on the strip as well, and is brand new.



The rest, in the order I'd place them:

1. Caesars - great location in the center of the strip, beautiful rooms, nice pool area, good club (Pure)



2. MGM - fun, huge (might be good or bad), lots to do, located in a fun area of the strip, but not really central, good pool area



3. Luxor - fun, young hotel, good rates, nice rooms, a little out of the way



4. Excalibur - nice place, great rates, good location near MGM, NYNY, Luxor, tends to have a childish feel and caters somewhat to families



5. Imperial Palace - great location in the center of the strip, great rates, but old and pretty dumpy



6. Sahara - bad location at the north end of the strip, not really convenient to much else, old and a bit rundown, not many options in or around for eating, etc.Sahara, Luxor, Excalibur, MGM Grand, Imperial Palace, Vdara or Caesar's?
There are NO perks for just staying there. Perks are for people who consistently come and who game loads of money.



Vdara is brand new, a boutique hotel with no casino. You have to go outside and go to Aria.



Sahara is older, nice but not next to another casino and who wants to walk and walk.



Of the remaining I would chose the one with the best room deal, which is as advertised, no gimmicks. They all have restaurants, and clubs, and a casino AND you don't have to stay in a room to enjoy those activities
I would choose Excalibur if you want to save money otherwise MGM or Caesars. Both MGM and Caesars are massive properties so if you don't like that I would stay elsewhere. Vdara is too new for me to judge. It wasn't open last time I was in town.



I would not stay in Sahara or Imperial Palace at all.



Luxor I would choose to save money and Excalibur is booked full.
