I've been to the MGM Grand when I was little. Like 9 or 10 years old. The only things I remember is a blackout, lions display, lazy river, huge line at the buffet, and the casinos. It was pretty amazing though. I had a great time. (:
Definitely the MGM grand! from a personal experience. To answer your question, it's not hard to get intot he wetrepublic, just ask around once you get there. Last thing, make sure you book thru a coupon site, i find them to offer the cheapest prices, try www.coupondawg.com and click into agoda on the top left side to book your hotel. They are probably the cheapest rate i have found...hope this helps.Stay at MGM Grand or The Mirage?
I'm biased, since I love the mirage. Pool is awesome at Mirage, and you can take advantage of the Fix Prix menu at most of the Mirage restaurants (I think that is still going on Sun-Thurs).
Mirage has way more character than MGM.
MGM Grand is really good. Wet Republic is awesome and the hotel has a great casino. You can also get good hotel promotions for MGM is you check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/categ鈥?/a>
PH had to close their clubs; major legal issues.
MGM is talking about closing Republic, talking
Mirage and MGM are both nice hotels so take the best deal
Getting in a club depends on the day and crowd. Dress for it!
Flip a coin. You can't go wrong with either.
MGM Grand. The buffet is awesome.
MGM BABY
i've stayed at both and i would have to say that mirage is better. the location is better since its more in the middle of the strip and it's more walking distance to everything around it. MGM is more towards the side of the strip and you would have to drive/take a taxi to go to more places. the pool at mirage was really nice. more peaceful than mgm in my opinion. the MGM pool was alright because of their river and what not, but MGM does pull in more of a younger crowed (since you only need to be 18 and over to check in) when Mirage is 21and over. so if you want a place that appeals to your age then pick Mirage. and i heard that they remodeled their rooms and it sure looks nicer than MGM (go to the mirage website to check it out).
