Room bookings at MGM grand?

Okay here's an odd question (probably a stupid question, though)



I'm visiting Las Vegas next month %26amp; going in a group of 6 people. I went to the website to check out the rates for MGM grand and they were quite steep.



The rates were for a deluxe room (with two beds) - presumably for 2 guest per room.



i was thinking of fitting in 6 people in 2 rooms (3 each) ; we all could probably share beds.



Will the hotel charge me more if i stuff more people in (than 2) ? do i have to notify them ?



or can i stuff as many people as i want for the night as long as i'm paying the daily tarrif for the room?

Las Vegas hotel rooms are book for double occupancy. That means 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 yrs. Extra guests are charged $35 /night (I think).

Yes the hotel can charge you more for having more people in the room than you told them. I think there is a law in Vegas that says you cant have more than 4 people to a room because of the fire/evacuation codes. However people do it all the time. You just need to consider the crowd you are with. If you are planning on partying in the room and causing all kinds of ruckus you are going to draw more attention to yourselves and could therefore get caught much easier. Legally speaking you can have four people per room. However the price you got was for two people. They charge extra for each extra person. Extra people cost more to provide for like extra towels and lines. They use more water and other utilities. So, NO, you can't stuff as many people as you want in a room. If you get caught it will treated as a theft. You will either have your credit card charged for the extra people, thrown out, arrested or all of the above.
