how do you rate it please?Mgm grand hotel?
The MGM-Grand is an awesome hotel. You're going to have a ball.

It's one of a small handful of resorts that you could conceivable, never leave the property and still have a great time. Simply because the MGM has everything.

Be sure and sign up for and use the "Players Club" card if you gamble. It's one of the best in all of LV for cash back and you might be surprised at the offers you receive to come back and visit them again, even if you don't think you "play enough".

Their Lion Habitat is one of the best free attractions in Las Vegas.

Their buffet is a good one albeit a bit on the expensive side.

They have too many great/good restaurants to list, and a nice food court as well.

The only problem you might run into is if you try to check in on a Friday night. The lobby is a mad-house between 2p-6p. If you happen to arrive then I would make plans to do something else for a few hours, come back when the crowd dies down and check in. They are not going to run out of rooms. Drop your bags at the bell desk, then go to lunch/dinner %26amp; take in a few sights or see a show/movie. Standing in line for an hour or two is not my idea of a great way to start my vacation.

I stayed at the Signature at MGM Grand, one of their "boutique" hotels connected to the main hotel. It was fantastic - the rooms were to die for, with mini kitchens and huge baths. Each building (there are 3) have their own lobby and reception area. The atmoshere was so much less "hustle and bustle" compared to the entrance and lobby of the main hotel. Yet you can walk over to the MGM Grand via a series of hallways. The main pool area of the Grand is fabulous, the onsite restaurants give a wide variety but are on the pricey side (as are 99% of the resaurants in Vegas). We really enjoyed our stay. I recommend Firefly on Paradise as a great off strip restaurant. Have fun!
The MGM Grand is a great hotel, you will love it. Centrally located on the Strip for all the shows and attractions that Vegas has to offer.
Fantastic, massive hotel was the largest in the world until recently it has over 5 thousand rooms! As the name suggests the theme is films, when you get there ask for a room overlooking the 'strip' you get a fantastic view of all the hotels. My wife and I got married in the hotel 13 years ago, have stayed there a few times since, you will not be disappointed with either the hotel or vegas.
It is a great hotel casino, with a casino that is huge and large than two football fields. You can walk outside and cross the street to NYNY or Luxor - pyramid or Excalibur - castle. You can walk thru a lion house as they walk above and around you in a safe enclosed home. You can sit in your room and watch the desert sun go down and come up to the most beautiful colors in the world. And, you can enjoy a great buffet or a romantic dinner or a quick breakfast for prices you won't find in the average town.

I would rate it Aplus
It's one of 2 places I've stayed in Vegas. I preferred Caesar's, but didn't have any complaints about MGM. It is huge, there's a lot to do in the hotel, there's a monorail stop, and it's a short walk to several other hotels. The rooms are clean and modern.
I stayed there one whole night. I usually stay at cheaper places because I'm poor but that's where David Copperfield has his magic show and I didn't have time to be walking up and down the strip. It's a nice building with a nice view. I'm not that picky about hotel rooms though. Like I said, I usually stay at the cheapest place that's in a good location. The MGM Grand is in a very good location. It is on the Las Vegas strip near the south end.
Awesome hotel.Great casino, but table mins are a little on the high side if youre not a high roller.Long walk though to the middle of the strip.
If you're looking for the Vegas experience, i.e. smoke-filled casinos, gaudy entertainment and overpriced restaurants and shops, then the MGM Grand is a nice place. Seriously though, it is one of the nicer premiere hotels in Las Vegas.
