MGM Grand Vs. Mandalay Bay?

I am going to Las Vegas in the fall and am trying to figure out where to stay. I am between the MGM Grand and Mandalay. Any suggestions? Thanks!MGM Grand Vs. Mandalay Bay?
They are both very close to each other, so location isn't really an issue, and you are already okay with the price, so cost isn't an issue. They both have great pools, although Mandalay Bay's is rated the best in Vegas because it is like a beach with real sand and it has a wave pool. I see MGM Grand as a busier hotel that is more for the young partier, I know it is very popular. Mandalay Bay is quieter and more sophisticated but equally as fun. They both have nice rooms.



I personally would choose Mandalay Bay because of the pool and the luxurious feel. But if you would rather have that party atmosphere where you are staying then MGM Grand might be the one for you.

Mandalay bay is the place to be. they've got the clubs and the nice rooms. and you have a great view of the whole strip.

trust me. i live in vegas.
well I've never been to MGM overnight, but it has a pretty nice Wolfgang Puck restaurant and Mandalay bay was somewhat disappointing
They are both top of the line resorts.

The one thing is this for convenience. Are you renting a car?

Then MB%26gt; it is far easier to get into and out you are much closer to LV Blvd. At MGM you have to deal with traffic on Trop that can add 30 minutes to any trip.

But again, you will not be disappointed with either location.
Personally I like Mandalay Bay
